Drop-off/Pick-up Instructions
- If you checked out any materials for my class please clearly label it with my name and classroom number (Schmit F-100). A paper bag would be ideal but use what you have access to.
- 6th Grade, 8th Grade and Intro to Studio Students: Last week I bagged and labeled all 2-D work I could find so you could pick up this week. There were several "no-name" items that I will keep for now and can be picked up when we return to school in the fall.
- Sculpture and Ceramics Students- The only work ready for pick up is if you are a senior in my Sculpture class. Everything else will be waiting for students in the fall. If you are a Senior or a student not returning to NWSA nest fall in my Ceramics or Sculpture classes, please email me with a non-school email and Phone number I can reach you with to work out how to get your work to you.
- Ceramic Students- My goal is for you all to finish the artwork you started from this year, I also don't want to fire pieces you don't really want either; Please touch base with me the first week of school in the fall so we can coordinate when/how we can get your work from this year finished ;-)
- If you Earned Artist Prints- They should be ready for pick up on Friday. Any that don't get picked up I'll mail them to you (make sure you have a current address with the school- or email me asap if you moved recently).
Grades
- If you were passing as of March 13th you earned a PC19 for 4th quarter. That means you passed!
- There is a survey from the school you're parents will need to fill out and you will be conferencing with one of your other Middle School teachers-so be on the look out for those.
- If anyone would like to conference with me, just let me know by email
- This year is weird- you need to look at your S2 score - my understanding is this is what will count as your 4th quarter Numerical Grade for this year.
- Choosing your grade- click the button below (it will work June 1st-5th). It will take you to a website where you will make decisions about how you want your grades to count this year ( Keep the Numerical grade, PC19, or WC19). There are more specific instructions for what you need to do there and descriptions for what it all means.
- My Recommendation: For my class, if you did any work during April or May, I would recommend keeping the Numerical grade. If you would like more specific advice- email me or call my google voice number.
